Finally, a dream coming true.
The Vancouver City Council approved an interim space in the Vancouver Public Library building for use as the Filipino Community and Cultural House.

In preparation for designing and decorating the space, MLA Mable Elmore for Vancouver-Kensington jurisdiction, led an excited group of volunteers to visit the Seattle, WA house of the Filipino Cultural and Community Center. The day trip was to gather inspirations on how to set up and decorate the Vancouver house.

Community Services Director Alda De Aza represented the club in the trip. FSCBC is listed in the city council document as one of the core supporters of establishing the house.
FSCBC will be an active maintenance partner of the center.

A dream come true for those who believed and persisted.
