About Us

Founded on April 12, 1982, the Filipino Seniors Club of British Columbia (FSCBC) is a pioneering nonprofit and the first Filipino association in Canada to be granted charitable status by Revenue Canada (June 2, 1982). What began with 24 dedicated founding members—many of whom became its first leaders—has grown into a vibrant organization celebrating Filipino heritage while weaving it into Canada’s multicultural tapestry as well as serving the community in the most relevant and caring ways.

The Filipino Seniors Club of British Columbia is committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through programs that are grounded in our core values of Kindness, Playfulness, Wonder, and Professionalism. Operating Structure

The Executive Board consist of Directors elected for a two-year tenure.

Governance and organizational programs reside with the Board of Directors who reports to the general membership.

Membership



The membership to the Club is open to every individual 40 years of age and older, Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, Temporary Resident holding a valid Work Visa. Membership is subject to acceptance by the Membership Committee and to payment of the annual membership fee.
